Help me change the world?

Today, I have decided that I am on a mission to change the world.

At knitting club today (yes, I go to Knitting Club), a teacher spoke to me about Communism. No offence, but I have never been a fan of Communism. However, he also related Communism to the words of Christ.

Lately, I have been feeling deeply religious so, by relating it to the words of Jesus, I instantly felt a connection. I am often very opinionated and, when I say something, I refuse to back down.

However, I think that today may be the start of something.

Our conversation progressed to talk about the song "When I'm Gone", covered by Allison Crowe. For those who are unaware, this song was written by Phil Ochs: a man who sadly committed suicide. Crowe covers the song beautifully. It contains lyrics such as:
"There's no place in this world that I'll belong when I'm gone... so I guess I'll have to do it when I'm here."
It progresses to speak about all the things that you can do with your life.
It's a truly powerful song.

Recently, I really have felt the urge to do something great.
I have tried raising money for charity; helping others and making amends with those who I do not get along with.

However, nothing has satisfied this long-lasting pang.

This had lead me to say:
I am on a mission. A mission to change the world.

Chances are, no-one will ever read this. No-one will feel the passion that I feel as I write this. No-one will help to change the world but, sometimes, you just have to take a chance.

A rant about rants!

Good evening everybody!

Believe it, or not, I have never actually had a real 'Blog' before. My only blogging experiences have been on Bebo and, believe me, these were not worthwhile experiences.

I love the idea of recording my life.

However, the idea of people onlooking my life (through a website) seems a very strange concept. However, I like to try new things.

I better warn you that I have the habit of rambling. I do not purposely ramble. I just tend to do it accidently. Like, for example, I will be talking a topic I am interested about and, several minutes later, when my speech still had progressed no further than 'I like this topic because', I realise it may cause those listening to yawn over-dramatically and use the excuse,
"That's very interesting, but I better be going."

That was a prime example of a rant.

I just ranted about ranting.

What has my life come to?!
